On January 12, a grand event was organized at the Rabindra Bhavan premises in Agartala by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports to commemorate National Youth Day. This special day, celebrated on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, witnessed the presence of Tinku Roy, a minister from the state cabinet, as the chief guest.
The event was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, attended by Minister Tinku Roy and several distinguished personalities. Their enthusiastic participation added a unique dimension to the celebration.
In his address, Minister Tinku Roy stated, “The life and ideals of Swami Vivekananda are an eternal source of inspiration for the youth. This day serves as an occasion to honor the strength, zeal, and contributions of the youth in building society.” He further emphasized, “The innovative spirit and creativity of the youth will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our nation.”
The event featured various cultural programs, discussion sessions, and an award distribution ceremony. The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from the youth, notable individuals, and the general public.
