Kailashahar,Anupam Pal:Like the rest of the country, the people of Kailashahar in Tripura have also erupted in outrage over the horrific terrorist attack that took place in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22, 2025. In this brutal assault, 26 innocent Indian civilians lost their lives. To express grief and protest, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, along with its affiliated organizations, organized a silent rally on April 25 starting from the Srirampur Tri-junction in the Chandipur Assembly constituency.
The rally began at Srirampur Tri-junction, proceeded to Srirampur Bridge, and returned to the starting point. Among those present were Bablu Deb, President of Chandipur Yuva Morcha; Bimal Kar, BJP Unakoti District President; Pintu Ghosh, President of Chandipur Mandal; Abhik Dey, Mandal member; and many party workers and supporters.
Speaking to the media after the rally, Bablu Deb, President of Chandipur Yuva Morcha, said:”The heinous and barbaric attack in Pahalgam has taken the lives of many innocent people. On behalf of Yuva Morcha, we pay our deepest respects to the victims. We strongly urge the central government to take the harshest action against those involved in this terrorist attack, as well as those who support and fund such terrorism.”
Bimal Kar, BJP Unakoti District President, added: “There can be no compromise with national security. We stand firmly with the government. A strong and appropriate response must be given to such a cowardly attack. We pray for the peace of the departed souls and express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.”
Pintu Ghosh, President of Chandipur Mandal, said:,”This is not just a terrorist attack — it is an assault on our national security and spirit of brotherhood. Those who carried out this attack are enemies of humanity. Every citizen must now unite and stand against terrorism.”
This silent protest not only honored the victims but also reflected the collective voice of Kailashahar in condemnation of terrorism.
