
Kailashahar,Anupam Pal:On March 4th, Tripura Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha is scheduled to visit Kailashahar. On this occasion, he will lay the foundation stones and perform the Bhoomi Pujan for various developmental projects. In preparation for this visit, a crucial meeting was held today, Tuesday (February 25th), at the conference hall of the Unakoti District Magistrate’s office. The meeting was attended by Social Education & Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy, District Magistrate Dilip Kumar Chakma, District Education Officer Prashanta Kilikdar, and other senior officials.
The primary focus of the meeting was to outline the plans for the foundation stone-laying ceremony of various development projects related to the Chief Minister’s visit. Discussions were held on ensuring the smooth execution of the event, with an emphasis on coordination among different departments.
Following the meeting, Minister Tinku Roy, along with senior officials, visited the sites of various development projects. According to sources, a total of ₹56.30 crore has already been allocated for improving the infrastructure of nine schools in the Kailashahar subdivision to enhance the quality of education. While some schools have completed their infrastructure development, work in some institutions remains partially finished, and construction of new buildings is set to begin soon.
Additionally, the Chief Minister is expected to lay the foundation stone for several new school buildings, along with the launch of a seventeen-phase fish farming project in the Haor region. His visit is anticipated to bring significant improvements to the education and development sectors of the area.
To ensure a smooth and successful visit, the administration is making all necessary preparations. Local authorities and concerned departments are working together to ensure the timely implementation of development projects, so that the public can benefit from them efficiently.
