A grand religious event has been organized by the Kailashahar branch of the Nikhil Tripura Shri Shri Hari Bhakti Pracharini Sabha on the upcoming 4th of June. On this occasion, a press conference was held today at the conference hall of the Kailashahar Municipal Council.
Present at the press conference were the event committee’s secretary Dhiraj Debnath, publicity secretary Arup Ratan Chakraborty, and members Shyamal Das, Debashish Sen, Shankar Sinha, Nabakumar Sinha, Sujoy Saha, among others.
Dhiraj Debnath informed that on June 4th, at 6 PM, a Shrimad Bhagavat Recitation and Discourse will be held at the Unakoti Kalakshetra. The chief guest at this event will be the renowned Shriman Nityananda Chaturdasha Bansabatamsa Pathak Samrat, Prabhupad Shrimad Nityagopal Goswami Bhagavatacharya, who is arriving from Nabadwip to participate in the event.
For the first time, such a high-level religious event is being organized in Kailashahar. The event will begin with devotional performances, including bhajans, kirtans, and as a special attraction, there will be a Manipuri Rasleela performance, which will highlight the local culture in a devotional atmosphere.
Notably, the head monk of Jagannath Bari of Agartala will also deliver a discourse on the Shrimad Bhagavat during the event.
Distinguished guests expected to attend the event include the Mayor and MLA of Agartala Municipal Council Dipak Majumder, the Deputy Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, local ministers, and several dignitaries and legislators.
On behalf of the organization, an open invitation has been extended to all to attend this sacred religious event and make it a success. The organizers hope that this devotional program will further enrich the religious and cultural atmosphere of Kailashahar.
