A new chapter has been added to the sports arena of Tripura. Sankari Roy, wife of State Sports Minister Tinku Roy, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Ad-hoc Committee of the Tripura Paralympic Association.
Sankari Roy has long been associated with social activities. She is known for her sports-friendly mindset and her dedication to service. Sports circles believe that under her leadership, Tripura’s Paralympic athletes will receive more opportunities and achieve greater success.
In her reaction while speaking to us, Sankari Roy said, “It is a matter of great honor for me to receive this responsibility. I consider every Paralympic athlete of Tripura as a member of my own family. I will make every possible effort for their development and success.”
Sports enthusiasts of the state are hopeful that under her guidance, differently-abled athletes of Tripura will shine even brighter on national and international platforms.
