A special administrative camp was organized on Sunday at ManuValley Tea Garden under the Chandipur Assembly Constituency. As part of the ‘Dharati Aba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan’, this camp was held for the benefit of residents from ManuValley, Rangrung, Tachai, Golakpur, and other nearby tea garden areas. The main objective of the initiative was to provide essential government documents such as Aadhaar cards, PRTC certificates, and birth certificates, particularly to SC, ST, OBC, and low-income beneficiary families.
The camp began at 10 AM and served over a hundred people with various government certificates. Present at the event were Kailashahar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Pradip Sarkar, noted social worker Sandeep Debroy, and other administrative officials and local leaders.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Pradip Sarkar stated, “Many people in the tea garden areas still lack Aadhaar, PRTC, birth certificates, or other important documents. At the request of Minister Tinku Roy, we organized this special camp to prevent beneficiaries from facing harassment at government offices while trying to obtain their documents.”
Social worker Sandeep Debroy added, “People living in tea garden areas have long been deprived of various government benefits. This camp is an effort to bridge that gap. Similar camps are needed in the future, and we will continue to stand by the administration in such initiatives.”
This kind of outreach not only provides essential documents but also serves as a vital link between the government and the common people.
